What should I do if the image output by the UV printer is too dark and not bright enough?

Sometimes, during the printing process of UV printers, operators may find that the pattern editing and processing have not been modified, the ink has not been replaced, and the nozzle is in good condition. However, the image printed on Yali (as shown in the picture) is not bright enough and feels very dark. Where is the problem? In fact, this reason appears on the curve. The function of the UV printer curve is to specifically adjust the proportion of colors, and to reproduce the image output by the UV printer 100% according to the specified requirements. After the operator sets the printing accuracy and PASS track, there is a small setting to reduce the value of the dark part behind the curve. If the value of dark color is too high, it will inevitably reduce the brightness effect of the final pattern. It is worth noting that for different materials, due to factors such as translucency and brightness, the same curve dark color may have some normal colors and some lack dimness. This requires technicians to continuously accumulate corresponding experience. The image output from the UV printer is not bright enough. Solution: Increase the upward angle behind the curve in the color software to solve the problem. The specific upward angle value needs to be adjusted by technical personnel based on the color condition of the customer's pattern, until it meets the required standards. What should I do if the image output by the UV printer is too dark and not bright enough? In addition, sometimes the images output by UV printers may suddenly fade, and there are three reasons for this problem. Based on years of practical experience, we now provide some methods to help everyone solve this problem encountered in practice. Reason 1: The ink volume in the print settings is too low. Usually, in the image control software of UV printers, there are different ink output controls such as 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100%. If the operator lacks experience, they will print with 80% of the ink volume instead of 100%, which will result in a lighter output image. The solution is to increase the ink volume. Reason 2: The printed PASS is too low, and the color and accuracy of the patterns printed by different PASS are different. Usually, for objects with smaller materials, high PASS is used for printing, which can make the patterns clear and the colors rich; If it is a large format printing, a lower PASS can be used for printing. This requires technicians to set and print PASS for different materials based on their actual experience. Reason 3: The influence of material on the transparency, glossiness, smoothness and other characteristics of the substrate itself will affect the final UV printing effect, resulting in some output images being lighter and some being darker. In addition to visual errors with the naked eye, some materials have an adsorption effect on ink, while others have a dissolution effect on ink. For example, when printing patterns on a conventional acrylic inkjet printer, a UV printer only requires 80% of the ink volume, and a slightly larger amount can result in darker images. All of these require UV printer technology, which requires technicians to continuously accumulate experience in actual printing in order to better solve these problems.
